We cut out the build fee and glued in a fiver.

The Paste-Up Club makes handcrafted websites for small businesses. The making costs £0 — properly nothing — and the keeping costs £1.99 a month for hosting. Everything else on this page is just the details, nicely stuck down.

How the club works

first —

Bring us your story

A cuppa-length chat about your business: who you serve, what makes you good, what the site needs to do. We scribble notes; that's the brief sorted.

then —

We cut, paste & build

Design, layout, words and pictures, assembled by hand into a proper website. You get a preview link and unlimited "hmm, bit more to the left" rounds. All free.

finally —

Stick it to the internet

Your site goes live on fast, secure hosting for £1.99 a month, flat. Want your own domain? We'll register it in your name at cost plus a small markup.

What's in the kit

A design that's yours

Cut and pasted around your brand, not squeezed out of a template tube. If your shopfront is quirky, your site will be too.

Neat on every screen

From big desktop monitors to cracked hand-me-down phones, the layout re-folds itself beautifully.

Google-friendly glue

Fast pages, tidy structure and honest titles, so local searches find your business rather than the chain up the road.

Padlock & backups in

SSL certificate, daily backups and security patches, all covered by your fiver. Nothing peels off in the rain.

Free little edits

New menu? New prices? Post us an email and small changes are pasted in within two working days.

Unstick any time

No contracts, no exit fees. If you leave, we hand over your files and wave you off — no soggy guilt trip.

Notes from members

Quotes elsewhere started at £1,800. The Paste-Up lot built ours for nothing and it's the prettiest thing our chippy has ever owned.
Tommy & June Ashworth The Golden Batter, Blackpool
Five pounds a month! I spend more on washi tape. The enquiry form has brought in nine commissions since March.
Freya Lindqvist Lindqvist Ceramics, Falmouth
Emailed about new opening hours at 9am. Fixed by 11. They even spotted a typo I'd missed for three years.

Folded-up answers

Why is the build free? What's the trick?

No trick — just arithmetic. Building your site costs us time once; hosting earns us £1.99 a month for years. We'd rather have hundreds of happy members on tiny bills than a few on enormous ones. This page is the entire agreement.

What does my fiver actually pay for?

Fast hosting, your SSL certificate, daily backups, security updates, and small content edits done within two working days. In short: everything needed to keep the site stuck up and looking fresh.

Do I need my own domain?

Not to start — we can launch you on a free address. When you want yourbusiness.co.uk, we register it at the registry cost plus a small, clearly quoted markup per ending. It's yours, in your name, forever.

What if I want to leave the club?

Just stop paying. No contract, no notice period, no exit fee. We'll hand over your site files and help repoint your domain. Membership was always voluntary.

How long until I'm live?

Usually five to ten working days from our first chat, mostly depending on how quickly you can send photos and details. The glue itself dries instantly.

Fancy joining?

Send one email about your business. We'll reply within a working day with a start date — and then we get the scissors out.
