"Free website" sounds like a scam. Here's why it isn't.
How is the build free?
Hosting hundreds of small sites on modern infrastructure costs us pennies each. Your £1.99 a month more than covers your site's share over time, so we don't need to charge for the build. We only make money if you stick around — which means we only make money if the site's good.
Will the £1.99 go up?
No. It's flat. It doesn't rise with traffic, pages or time. If that ever changed for new customers, existing customers keep their price.
What's the markup on domains?
A couple of quid a year on top of what the registry charges us, quoted per ending before you buy. A .co.uk is usually about £12 a year all-in. The domain is registered in your name — you own it, not us.
What if I want to leave?
Cancel by email, any time. We send you every word and image from your site and point your domain wherever you tell us. No exit fee, no guilt trip.
Do you build online shops?
No. We build brilliant brochure sites — up to five pages that tell people what you do, show your work and get them to call you. If you need a full shop, we'll say so honestly and point you elsewhere.
